You can count on us to provide the most advanced, state-of-the-art treatments and procedures to correct and protect your vision. Many of these procedures take place in our licensed and accredited eye surgery center in Willmar, Minnesota, adjacent to our office there.

Refractive Procedures
Refractive Lens Exchange is a procedure for patients who are too nearsighted, too farsighted, have corneas that are too thin, are over the age of 40 and wish to be less dependent on reading glasses and bifocals, or are not a LASEK candidate for other reasons.

Cataracts
Our center is now among the first in the region to adopt advanced “laser” cataract surgery. We now offer patients not only enhanced precision during surgery but also a choice with regard to which technology the surgeon will use to remove your cataract for YOUR best results.

LASIK
Most people have already heard of LASIK laser vision correction—but have you heard of LASEK? If not, it’s time you did. LASEK aims to reduce your dependence on glasses and contacts by reshaping the cornea using an advanced, ultra-precise laser.

Dry Eye
If dryness is making your eyes irritated or painful, you are not alone. Whether it is causing minor discomfort, occasional pain, or frequent, debilitating pain, dry eye is one of the most common reasons people visit an eye doctor.

Glaucoma
Our doctors specialize in helping people who have glaucoma. In fact, our board certified surgeon leads the area in advanced procedures that may reduce your dependency on glaucoma medications.

Macular Degeneration
Age-related macular degeneration (sometimes called “AMD” or “ARMD”), a serious threat to vision, can result in permanent blindness if not detected and treated promptly. While there is no cure, Fischer Laser Eye Center specializes in managing the disease to preserve vision.

Cornea
The cornea is your eye's clear, protective outer layer designed to focus light into the eye so that you can see. Fischer Laser Eye Center is home to the only fellowship-trained cornea surgeon in the region, Dr. Jeffrey Fischer.

Pediatrics
Early vision problems can easily be mistaken for a learning problem. Youngsters with visual problems can be misdiagnosed as having learning disabilities, ADHD, or dyslexia. That is why scheduling regular eye exams for your child is so important.
