Clinical Technician (Immediate Opening)
We are currently looking for a full-time (32-36 hours, M-F) clinical technician to join our Fischer Laser Eye Center team. Competitive wages and benefit package included.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with patient eye care and examination
- Helping with the maintenance of patient records
- Data management of patient records
- Understanding when auxiliary testing is indicated
- Anatomy and physiology of ocular systemic health
- Handling technical duties
- Team oriented individual
- Medical background
- Strong Data Entry Skills
- COA certification (preferred)
About Our Practice:
We have seven locations, which include six satellite offices and one central state-of-the-art clinic with a LASEK suite and attached ambulatory surgery center. We also have a new digital surfacing and finishing lab. Our optometric group is experienced in primary eye care, disease management, LASEK pre- and post-operative care, contact lenses, and pediatric eye care. Our ophthalmologist is corneal fellowship-trained and is nationally respected in cataract and LASEK procedures. Our group has been involved in numerous FDA studies in LASEK and cataract surgery, ophthalmic diagnostic equipment, and contact lenses.
